Visiting Palestinian artist, Ramzi Abu Ridwan, founder of Al-Kamandjati organization, held a special Music Workshop with members of Mawtini Choir during his stay in Southern California.  Accompanied by his wife on the qanun and choir director Sami Asmar on the riqq, Aburedwan played the buzuq as a teaching tool and taught the participants a suite of 5 Palestinian folk songs especially arranged for the occasion.

The highly successful event will be followed up by the Choir for a future public performance.  This segment was followed by instrumental participation by choir member Yara Khalife on the cello in a segment with Ramzi on the buzuq and Sami on the Nay.
