The Palestine Foundation’s annual Walk for Water in Palestine is just around the corner!

 

Sunday, March 19 at Mile Square Park
in Fountain Valley, CA - Shelter 4.  Use Edinger entrance.

 

Registration starts at 9:30 am

Our walk will start at 10:00 am

Lunch for purchase/activities for children to follow

 

Best part - no rain in the forecast!

 

Your commitment is an encouragement to our mission and the good that will come of it.  It’s not too late to join us.

Why support the Palestine Foundation Campaign to raise funds for potable water in Palestine?

 

According to the Organization for World Peace (OWP), Palestinians continue to suffer water shortages since the beginning of the occupation in 1948. Israel controls and exploits major water resources in the region, including the Jordan River, the Mountain Aquifer, and the Coastal Aquifer.

 

As a result, Palestinians are experiencing severe water shortages and are forced to purchase water from Israel at high prices. This has led to economic and health hardship for many Palestinians -- and this is unacceptable.

 

Let’s send a message by walking together on March 19th.
