Our “Sitti Kids, Seeds of Hope” concert was not just beautiful; it was a vibrant, living realization of the vision Palestine Foundation held for the Mawtini Choir initiative, which joined together with our renowned Palestinian artist, Dr. Dalal Abu Amneh. Witnessing our shared goals so perfectly aligned and brought to life was deeply rewarding.

Having Rolla Selbak, the Palestinian award-winning filmmaker, MC our event added a very special dimension. Her wit, intelligence, and sense of humor brought an added bonus of light and connection to our gathering.

We organized this benefit concert at a time when grief weighs heavily on us all, as we witness the horrors of genocide still unfolding in Palestine. We faced many challenges, including a heartbroken community feeling demoralized, overwhelmed with guilt, and a profound sense of betrayal towards our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Yet, you showed up.

You showed up in powerful solidarity. You proved to the world that when the world is silent, the arts have a magical effect of healing. Your presence was a defiant act of love and resilience.
