The Palestine Foundation Auction is part of our effort to raise $60,000 to support mental health programs in Gaza. We’ve already raised $25,000, and with your help, we can do even more.

Ibrahim Al-Nashashibi is an award-winning artist, evokes a variety of emotions with abstract images and uses his creative art to convey his thoughts about key concepts in the lives of humans now and in the future. His creative soul and artistic style were formed in the old city of Jerusalem where he was born in 1950.

Sam Hasan is a Southern California based artist in the style of Ajami.  Popularized in Syria in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth centuries, this style utilizes techniques of applying special-formula wood-based paste to produce embossed decorative and colorful art. The figure of meditating whirling dervish from an ancient spiritual tradition. The lyrics in the calligraphy that form the figure are from a poem by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish describing his longing for his mother’s bread and mother’s coffee. 

Ibrahim Fathi is a Palestinian photographer from Gaza with passion for unconditional and hard approach to photography.  At age 5, Ibrahim started his hobby of photography where he took photos of his beloved and beautiful city of Gaza. With major challenges including limited natural environment and an old and worn out Nikon D7000 with lenses that are hardly fit for photography, Ibrahim has turned his passion into creating quality photos using digital photoshop. His message to the world is that Gaza is the city of peace, love, and beauty.
