The Mawtini Choir commemorated the end of the year with an event, “In Solidarity we Celebrate the Holidays,” marking the conclusion of a successful year of learning and performance in Palestinian and Arab culture and music.

A local Arab American artist worked with our children to create the horn of plenty and to fill it with dried fruits; the children worked with chocolate and created small, painted marzipan fruits to add to the holiday delight. The event was also the occasion to celebrate two birthdays, in a truly enjoyable and memorable day for all.

We look forward to the further development and success of the Mawtini Choir in 2025!
