In an incredible atmosphere of excitement and joy for the raising of the Palestinian flag at the House of Palestine in San Diego, the Mawtini Choir performed the song Mawtini for a large crowd on 26 September 2021. The members of the choir were very proud of their debut public performance and energized by the crowd joining them in the song.

The Palestine Foundation also gifted a lighted map of Palestine to the House. We extend our warmest congratulations and celebration to the House of Palestine on this momentous occasion.

After nearly one year since its establishment and under the difficult conditions of practicing remotely, the Mawtini Choir has grown into a beautiful group of children who love singing and playing musical instruments. Their performance at the House of Palestine Flag Raising was a beautiful testament to their skills.
