Kick off the weekend with an interactive evening exploring Palestinian dance beyond the stage. Attend a creative evening with members of El Funoun, live movement, music and community.

Join us for a special day of Dabke workshops with members of El Funoun, blending traditional Palestinian dabke with modern rhythm and movement. Participants can choose the session that best fits their experience level.

All levels are welcome:  from children learning their first steps to experienced dancers ready for advanced choreography. Session times:

  • 12:30-2:30 PM
  • 2:30-4:30 PM
  • 5:30-7:30 PM

SAWA SoCal invites you to a powerful two-hour journey of Palestinian dance and storytelling with members of El-Funoun Dance Troupe, blending performance and audience participation in a celebration of cultural resilience. Featuring a special collaboration with a select group of local dabke performers.
