On October 18, Palestinian artist Rulla Abdo Habibi hosted about fifty American friends at her home in Knoxville, Tennessee, for a hearty homemade Palestinian meal.

Her goal was to share her love for her culture while educating her friends about the dire needs of Palestinians living under occupation. This gathering, Rulla said, is all about love for each other while enjoying a hearty meal with live entertainment.

Rulla sold some of her artwork, and all proceeds were donated to benefit Palestine Foundation’s work for potable water for the Palestinian children in their schools in Gaza.

Rulla thanks all the people that attended her fundraiser — and we thank Rulla for choosing Palestine Foundation as the recipient of her fundraiser!
